As we finally get settled in the waning evening light,
a herd of black cows look on with indifference.
The last mumbling fishermen of the evening leave the rocks.
In the morning we discover deep crevasses in the middle of the field
where the ocean is engulfed with deafening noise:
the surrounding subsoil dissolves incessantly.
